The Fall 2024 Newsletter of Communities and Postal Workers United has articles about the Postal Service’s plan to discontinue end-of-day collections at thousands of post offices, an agenda for a “people’s post office,” and the agency’s decision to reverse some of its consolidation plans. Outgoing mail processing operations at plants in California, Florida, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Maine, Nevada, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee, Vermont will remain rather than being moved to RPDCs.
