Youngwoo reveals plans for Bronx Post Office space

Youngwoo & Associates has filed permits to convert the recently purchased Bronx General Post Office to a mixed-use building, including space for retail, dining and offices. The renovated building, located at 558 Grand Concourse by East 149th Street would add 7,500 square feet to its existing 143,000, according to New York YIMBY. The refurbished space would host retail on the first floor and in the basement, with two restaurants also planned for the first floor. Floors two through four would be converted to office space to accommodate 777 people total, with the penthouse housing another “restaurant & lounge” for 285 people, and the roof dedicated to a terrace for 265 people.   Read more:
