The Postal Service is relocating its retail operation in Cincinnati, Iowa, to a yet-to-be-determined location due to structural and safety concerns. The United States Postal Service closed down its post office on 107 S. Liberty in Cincinnati last year under an emergency order.
The Postal Service says its goal is to select a new customer service location as close to the current site as possible. The Postal Service anticipates providing the same services at the new location as were previously provided to our customers at the previous location. Consideration will be given to the sites that are convenient for the customers and meet all postal operational needs. Additionally, the Postal Service plans to continue offering services at the Centerville Post Office until the replacement facility is open and operating as a Post Office. Read more.
