Rolling Meadows Residents Want Their Post Office Back



The post office in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, closed on May 26 because the Postal Service could not come to an agreement of lease terms with the owner.  Now the Postal Service is conducting a discontinuance procedure to close the post office permanently, and residents aren't happy.  More than 100 people from Rolling Meadows, including the mayor and aldermen, crowded into Park Central Banquet Hall Wednesday evening to tell United States Postal Service (USPS) officials they want their post office back.  Read more.
