The Independent: The United States Postal Service has sent letters to its customers in Grand Island, Neb., informing them that the Grand Island Post Office (both retail and delivery unit) will be moving into the USPS processing facility at 3835 Old Potash Highway from the 204 W. South Front St. location on Saturday, June 30.
According to the correspondence received by businesses, the post office said that the plan is to close the old customer retail post office early on June 29 and remain closed Saturday, June 30. The retail unit, which will be located at the Old Potash Highway facility, will be open for customers starting Monday, July 2. Read more.
