Former NFL player Josh Sitton buys downtown Pensacola post office building

Pensacola News Journal: People walk by the courtyard in front of the downtown Pensacola U.S. Post Office every day, but former NFL player Josh Sitton hopes that courtyard will soon be a place for people to stop and socialize.

He and his wife, Kristen, recently bought the downtown post office building at 101 Palafox Place and plan to renovate it, turning much of the first floor into a new commercial space for a potential restaurant or bar tenant and the upper floor into a residential space. The post office will remain in the building but in a downsized space.

Josh said when the couple looked at the building, Kristen fell in love with it right away.  Read more.
