Delivery Network Dashboard

The Postal Service has begun implementing a massive initiative to change how the mail is delivered. Instead of working out of the back of post offices, letter carriers will be relocated to large, centralized facilities called Sorting & Delivery Centers. This dashboard provides information about the plan, lists of potentially impacted facilities, and analysis of how the plan may affect postal employees, post offices, and the public.

Here’s a map that models some 6,000 post offices that could lose their carriers and be at risk for relocation or closure.
