Summary of July 2011 Closing Lists


This table shows the number of post offices on the two lists that came out in July 2011: the July 26 Retail Access Optimization Initiative of 3,653 post offices that will be under study for closure, plus the July 27 list of 727 post offices already under study.  The total number of post offices for each state is an based on data available on the USPS website, but these numbers should be taken as estimates, give or take a few percent.
